Age UK Wiltshire

Age UK, Wiltshire

I asked Mike and Anji of Age Concern Wiltshire to give me their comments:-Mike says “I am confident that we are gaining the best value from the product because we have been directed correctly. We have been able to benefit from in-house training which has meant we can progress at our own pace and this has proved very effective. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the system and service provided”.“We were most fortunate in finding Sue who has been extremely helpful to us by her vast knowledge of the system”.Anji says “Training has been planned and carried out in manageable quantities with all tasks differentiated to the needs and abilities of service users. Because of this, the shift from the old software to the new has been seamless”.

Anji says “I just love the remittance advices which have saved so much work”

Herb (UK) Ltd

Herb (UK) Ltd, Lymington

Herb, an organic hair products manufacturer, have been using Sage 50 accounts and payroll for many years. Even though they had been managing to use the software they weren’t achieving the maximum time and money saving functions that are available. Sue has helped them over the last 4 years with creating a fully functional and streamlined system so they are now getting the maximum benefit from the software. Sue then helped the newly appointed accounts manager, Melissa.  Melissa says “Even though I have used Sage for many years, Sue has taught me many short cuts, and I like the way Sage now integrates with Excel to produce bespoke management accounts”. Recently they had a day’s training on the report designer and a Katherine (one of the sales team) discovered one of her regular reports could be created directly from Sage. Katherine says “This will save me hours of work”.

When both Astech and Breeze (who are ‘sister’ companies) decided to use the Sage Accounts and Payroll systems Sue Newman set up both systems to enable us to make full use of the programmes.

Margaret (Company Secretary) says ‘Sue keeps me up to date with regular one-to-one in house training. As a result the end of year figures submitted to our Accountants are very accurate therefore saving the Companies a considerable amount in Accountancy time and therefore fees !

Dorset County Museum

The Museum was founded in 1846 to help protect and record the county’s unique historical and natural environment. The accounts department have been using Sage50 accounts for a number of years and when they upgraded to a newer version they were unaware that the software now has a charities module. This helps with fund management and giving the ability to produce the SOFA reports. Sue showed them the new features and how it would improve their accounting structure. She has trained the current Administrator to transfer over to the new charities module advising her with the set up, training on all the new features and, giving her simpler ways to input her data. Anne says:- Sue has been of tremendous help to me. Her in-depth knowledge of Sage50 has enabled me to use the software much more efficiently.
